Meet Anjali

Life in Bloom flower garden is rooted in a deeply personal journey.

I am a licensed Physician, a Mother, and a lifelong Gardner. While navigating multiple autoimmune conditions that limited my ability to practice medicine in the way I once did, I found myself searching for something that could offer meaning ,peace healing and happiness.

This healing began in my own garden.

Spending time with flowers — planting, tending, harvesting and arranging — became a form of meditation and grounding. The simple, repetitive acts of caring for living things helped calm the nervous system, restore a sense of purpose, and reconnected me to beauty during a time of physical uncertainty.

Over time, I noticed something else: flowers changed people.

They softened difficult moments.

They helped people express love when words felt insufficient.

They became a way to offer gratitude, comfort, and presence — especially during life’s most meaningful transitions.

Life in Bloom grew from this realization.

Today, I grow flowers not just to decorate spaces, but to support emotional well-being, connection, and care. Each arrangement is created with the intention that flowers can be a gentle companion — in joy, in grief, and in everyday life.

This work is a quiet form of activism:

a belief that beauty matters,

that slowing down matters,

and that offering flowers is a meaningful way to say I see you, I care, and I’m grateful you’re here.

Life In Bloom Beginning

Life in Bloom started as hobby and distraction from pain in 2022. I loved developing and challenging myself with techniques that are friendly to the earth and living beings. This lifestyle became my mission…. My mission to spread joy and beauty through locally grown fresh flowers and plants to the Richmond community.

Every season brings different varieties of flowers, from Tulips ,Daffodils, Anemones, Ranunculus, Peonies, to Exquisite Roses, Carnations, Gerberas, Gladiolus, Dahlias and Chrysanthemums. I am dedicated to the local, seasonal flower movement and offer spring, summer and winter weekly floral subscriptions.

I am so excited to support creative people who want to incorporate locally grown blooms in their homes and community events.
